Yoga is an ancient system of physical, mental and spiritual practice, originating in India around 5000 years ago.  


The word 'Yoga' is from the Sanskrit word 'Yuj', meaning 'to unite'. The union referred to is the connection between the mind, body and soul. On a deeper level - it is the union of our individual and the great cosmic consciousness, which leads to total liberation (samadhi) that is said to be the ultimate 'goal' of Yoga practice. 


The benefits of Yoga are truly transformational! We may start the practice just for the physical benefits through Asanas (postures) but we soon start to realise that Yoga is so much more than that. It is a deeply internal practice - leading to our own personal union with the whole and deeper connection to our truest self. 


It is a practice where we can connect with our body and breath, calm the mind and align with the entire universe, whilst nourishing our entire being.


Yoga really is such a beautiful offering that we can take with us off of the mat and weave into our daily lives and can be practiced by absolutely any-body! No matter the shape, size or disability.


I offer Vinyasa, Hatha and Yin Yoga and am also Accessible and Inclusive trained, with classes being inclusive of every-body.


I include Asana, Meditation, Pranayama, Mantra and philosophy into each class, holding the space with love and support for you to explore and awaken your mind, body & soul. 


I also like to work with the current energies, astrological events, moon and season cycles, as well as including Sound during Savasana (final relaxation)
